I am a woodturner with a passion for creating simple, elegant bowls and vessels, one at a time, on a wood lathe. Every piece I create is unique, the result of a collaboration between design intent and the inherent characteristics of the wood.

While shape is paramount, I often incorporate natural defects found in the wood, celebrating the singular character of each tree. Much of my wood is sourced locally, rescued from construction sites and storm damage.
